Mark S. Rainey
Mark S. Rainey

Mark Rainey plays a key role in the company as one of the senior employees. His main foci are Architectural Detailing and Project Management. He has a hands-on education of the millworking industry. Mark first joined the Premier team in 1979 working as an apprentice in the shop. After six months of apprenticeship, he transitioned to a molder operator. In 1983, Mark left Premier to test the waters in other endeavors but returned after a short time to run the Molding Department. Back at Premier Mark assisted the company with merging the operations of the Molding Department, Cabinet Department and Architectural Millwork in 1986 and took on the role of shop Foreman, overseeing product production. In 2001, Mark left the shop and moved into Project Management and conceptualization of products from a computer program to a finished product. To this day Mark continues with Architectural Designing, Project Management and Accounting assistance. Key to Mark's work philosophy is figuring out the specifics of a project, putting the specifics into real life and ending with little or no punch list at the completion of the project. Mark cannot see himself in any other line of work- he has a great job, working with good people and for the best millwork company around. The projects Mark are most proud of being involved in are the Regent Law Library, Smithfield Foods Corporate Office, the Virginia Beach Hilton, the Freemason Street Baptist Church, the Norfolk Cruise Terminal and the Wilcox and Savage Law office.
